Yatrik means traveler – a word out of the oldest language of the world, Sanskrit. And the dot-com represents its amalgamation into the modern- day world of cyber space!
Yatrik.com was started in August, 1999 by three people from the tourism trade – with a combined experience of over 30 years. Having been ingrained with the philosophy that the success of an organization depends on the faith the customer has on its services and the quantum of repeat or referral clients, Yatrik.com today stands by the quality of its product and services. The proof lies in the comments of people who have traveled through it and have come back to travel through us again.
Yatrik.com packages tourism destinations within India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Tibet for both groups as well as individual travelers. Backing up its efforts is Tania Popovic, Fernanda Dominguez and Brenda Oporto of Madre, Argentina, Mexico and South America.

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
One of the marketing tools of Yatrik.com is a set of paintings by known and upcoming artists – depicting India. Another one is a set of Lithograph reprints, the originals dating back to 1890s and yet another one explores the psyche of the travellers – what makes them choose the kind of holidays that they do. This year – a set of pen and ink sketches depicting the life and land of The Himalayas. That is how different the approach to personalized tour program is with Yatrik.
Yatrik.com is essentially not a dot com company. It works with partners all over the world and the website is only a medium of general information about the country and the company. In this ever-dynamic world – Yatrik.com believes in imparting information and suggestions about tours on a one-to-one basis keeping customer needs in perspective. We are against B2C business for we believe in working with business partners only and hence you will notice the lack of programs and costs on our website.

R. Muthukumar: He is the grand dad of tourism. He not only keeps an eye on operations – he impresses with his knowledge in tourism.
Sujit: Started in 1986 and participated in two startup companies; Yatrik was the third. Key responsibility – Trouble Shooting!
Raj: A stickler for perfection, he will not let go till he has got it absolutely right. A big help in operations and to ensure a smooth time for travellers!
Tawseef: Eight years into the business of leisure travel at Yatrik. He compliments the ethos of Yatrik, its vision of “Guest comfort comes first.)
Deepak: Young fledgling with a hawk eye on operational details. You will often see him at the airport greeting our guests with a warm smile!
